An Ibiza-based car rental company running its own fleet

Every car leaves the Ibiza Town depot only after an in-house handover check: tyres, brakes, fluid levels, bodywork and interior condition are logged against that vehicle's own maintenance file before the keys change hands. The same check runs again on return, which is what the security deposit release is based on.

Pickup and delivery across the island are handled by Schober's own staff, not a dispatched third party. The same team that prepares a car at the depot can also meet a client at the airport, the port, a hotel or a villa, so the vehicle's condition and paperwork stay consistent from preparation through to return.

Each of the 50 vehicles is rotated through a set servicing schedule rather than run until a fault appears, and the service history is kept per car. Clients who want to see a specific vehicle's maintenance or insurance documents before booking can ask for them directly; Schober provides these on request rather than publishing them generically.

Maintenance logs, service dates and insurance cover for any car in the fleet are available to a renter who asks before confirming a booking, giving a direct check rather than a general assurance.
